Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: Must-Have: ACLS BLS NRP Post Partum/Mother Baby Experience Description: The unit has 12 beds and a staff of 40. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, 1 clerk, and 1 PCT. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, and 1 PCT. Patient ratios are 1:6. Equipment used includes vitals machines and rolling workstations. The electronic medical records system used is CPN and Meditech. Candidates without required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred qualifications include antepartum experience and certifications like RNC-OB and RNC-MNN. Typical procedures performed on the unit include blood and iron transfusions and bladder scans. The ideal candidate will be warm, positive, friendly, and caring. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
