Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/01/2026 - Duration: 24 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse • Mids Join our team in Corpus Christi, TX, as a Behavioral Health RN, providing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities: • Conduct patient assessments and deliver care. • Supervise staff and maintain records. • Calculate medication dosages and manage emergencies. • Engage effectively with patients and team members. Schedule: • Mids: 2pm • 10:30pm • 5 x 8•hour shifts, including alternate weekends Qualifications: • Active Texas RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility. • CPR certification. • Preferred: 2 years of nursing experience, 6 months as an RN, and experience with developmental disabilities. • Two professional references required. • COVID•19 vaccination mandatory. Additional Info: • Orientation: 2 weeks education, 2 weeks training. • Patient Ratios: 9•10, adjusted as needed. • Floating to different units may be required.
