acute med/surg experience within the last year License: RN License
Certifications: Required RN certification Must-Have: - Acute
med/surg experience of 1 years within the last year - Ability to
care for 4-6 patients at a time Description: This role entails the
care of medical/surgical patients. Typical procedures performed
include the following: - IV insertions - Urinary catheter insertion
and maintenance - Central line maintenance - Medication
administration - Communication with all members of the care team -
Documentation in electronic health records The unit typically has 8
beds but may flex up to 12 depending on overall hospital census.
Staff on the unit includes 10 members with a maximum patient ratio
of 6:1. The best personality fit for this role is friendly,
positive, patient-centered, and team-focused. Candidates with 2
years of acute med/surg experience within the last year or an ortho
or neuro-surgery background are preferred. Requirements Required
