Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare invites licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) to
apply for the unique position of In Home Health Care RN for
school-based cases on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for
nurses who thrive in a school setting and enjoy making a
significant difference in the lives of children by providing
one-on-one medical care in the nurturing environment of their
homes. At Aveanna Healthcare, you will be part of a compassionate
team dedicated to improved patient outcomes and servicing the
healthcare needs of children in a home setting around your
community. Administer medications, perform daily patient
assessments, and monitor for any changes in condition Educate
patients and their families on proper home health care strategies
and procedures Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other
medical professionals to implement a comprehensive care plan
Maintain accurate patient medical records and prepare reports on
patients' status Comply with all healthcare regulations regarding
patient health and safety Proficient in pediatric nursing practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong
organizational and time-management skills Ability to work
independently and as part of a team Knowledge of home health care
software and documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN license in the state of
employment CPR/BLS certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) certification is preferred
