Patient Services Representative- Radiation Oncology
Corpus Christi Medical Center--is a 631- bed Health Care System including Bay Area, Doctors Regional, The Heart Hospital, Northwest Regional, Bayview Behavioral Hospital, Northshore Emergency Center, Northwest Behavioral Health Center and Radiation Oncology at Corpus Christi Cancer Center. -- We are committed to the care and improvement of human life; constantly striving to deliver high quality, cost-effective healthcare. From caring for fragile newborns to complex cardiovascular patients, Corpus Christi Medical Center ensures the community receives the highest quality medical care available.
Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for all clerical functions for the Corpus Christi Cancer Center; Acts as liaison between the clinic staff and patients. Works as Patient Access Registrar for all Cancer Center Patients.
1. Determines priority on patient care and completes work within appropriate time frame.

2. Delegates work appropriate to job classification with clear concise directions.

3. Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.

4. Follows hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks.

5. Willing to adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs.

6. When assigned work is complete, seeks additional tasks to be done.

7. Performs well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.

8. Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task.

Qualifications Position Requirements:

  • Completion of Vocational/ Technical school preferred
  • At least 1-3 years of experience
