Job Description:
If you are a Technical Sales Professional in the process
industry looking to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting
opportunity for you! Based in the greater Corpus Christi, TX ,
area, you will be responsible for driving instrumentation sales
within your assigned territory and accounts. This position will
call on clients in the chemical, upstream, and midstream
industries. In this position, you will partner with customers to
make the world healthier, safer, smarter, and sustainable. This is
a REMOTE field-based position located within the territory.AS A
TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE YOU WILL:Work closely as a Strategic
Partner with current and prospective customers to understand
business needs and recommend solutions that will maintain and grow
salesUtilize proven sales strategies and CRM to promote and sell
Emerson's image and total valueRegularly perform territory analysis
and planningPursue and win day-to-day and project
businessSuccessfully provide sales solutions both independently and
collaboratively across teamsWHO YOU ARE:You establish and maintain
effective customer relationships. You identify and seize new
opportunities. You effectively communicate in various settings:
one-on-one, in small and large groups, or among diverse styles and
position levels. You maintain a positive attitude despite
adversity.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSBachelor's degree
or will consider a combination of education and experience related
to company product or industryMinimum of 3 years of related sales
and or technical experience within the automation industry,
specifically flow productsValid driver's licenseMust be a
self-starter and work with limited supervisionWillingness and
ability to travel within territory as required, including minimal
overnight stay for trainingLegal authorization to work in the
United StatesPREFERED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Sales
experience within the automation industryOutside sales
