Job Description JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER National Skilled Trades Masters, LLC, an entity powered by Workrise Technologies, Inc. is hiring Journeyman plumbers for a variety of large scale construction projects in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Candidates should have experience with commercial plumbing systems and equipment, and they will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, fixing and maintaining commercial construction plumbing systems. We---re looking for reliable and hard-working plumbers that take pride in their work. Ask about our $500 referral program Responsibilities Install various types of plumbing pipe and equipment Install PVC, sweat and solder copper and cast-iron pipes Install fixtures (sinks, toilets, urinals, fountains) Install and maintain plumbing systems used for drainage, sewage and potable water Locate, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace plumbing equipment and fixtures as necessary Enforce site safety procedures and policies Essential Job Functions At least 5 years of commercial/residential experience in the Plumbing field Familiarity with Plumbing schematics, blue prints and manuals Familiarity with Plumbing equipment and hand tools Valid plumbing license Valid journeyman plumber license if necessary Valid driver---s license Must have own tools and reliable transportation Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Regular, on-time attendance Ability to communicate effectively Physical Requirements include: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like; Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions; Communicating with others to exchange information; Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; Operating machinery and/or power tools; Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
