Description:Job Overview:The Make Ready Specialist is responsible for preparing vacant apartments to meet market-ready conditions. This role involves performing various non-technical maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repair, caulking, and ensuring apartments are move-in ready. The Make Ready Specialist also supports the overall appearance and maintenance of the property.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance Operations:Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready conditions in compliance with Steward + Helm's standards.Perform non-technical maintenance tasks including exterior lighting maintenance, ground equipment repair, preventative maintenance, caulking, touch-up painting, pool maintenance, and lock repairs.Maintain and clean grounds to ensure the property presentation aligns with company standards.Respond promptly to resident requests and escalate issues to the supervisor as needed.Follow company procedures regarding the use of tools and equipment.Complete all required logs, paperwork, and checklists related to inventory tracking and hazardous chemicals.Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.Maintain property curb appeal by regularly picking up grounds and ensuring clean, well-kept exteriors.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Physical Demands: While performing duties, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, the employee must lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment: Noise levels are generally moderate.
