You will be responsible for providing immediate and efficient care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. ER Nurses must have a strong knowledge base in emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma care to provide the best possible care to patients in emergency situations. ER Nurses work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, and must be able to quickly assess and stabilize patients, and then decide on the best course of treatment.When you join our team as an RN you will get to work with a top-notch team to include 24/7 coverage of RT, Pharmacist and Emergency Medicine Residents and Attendings. New graduate nurses must obtain ACLS by the end of the clinical orientation period.NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer dateDe-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer dateTNCC required within 6 weeks of hire for experienced RNs. New graduate nurses must obtain TNCC within 18 months of hire/transfer date.PALS required at time of hire for experienced RNs.
