Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans, utilizing proper technique and giving clear instructions to patients.
• Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
• Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers, coordinating procedures and prioritizing tasks to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards.
• Accurately code and enter charges for procedures.
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
