**Patient Service Representative (PRN) - Day Shift****REGION** Corpus Christi Area **CATEGORY** Front Office/Admin **LOCATION** Corpus Christi, Parkdale **STATUS** Now Hiring **Job Summary**Greet and register patients for evaluation and treatment. Verify medical insurance and ensure payment due at time of service is collected. Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. Provide administrative support to the Front Office Manager and other staff as needed.**Responsibilities*** Provides front office registration duties such as greeting, verifying benefits, HIPAA consent forms, patient demographics and payment receipt.* Scans and enters patient information/medical reports in patient files through E-Power.* Enters patient/service census and survey data.* Provides medical records to other providers as requested with medical released signed by patient.* Properly logs payment and cash receipts as required.* Maintains adequate levels of supplies for patients use such as water, coffee, condiments, and snacks.* Performs duties to ensure work area and restrooms are clean and free from hazards.* Maintains confidentiality of patient and employee related issues.* Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.* Answers telephone in a polite manner and communicates and when necessary transfers calls or information to the appropriate staff.* Attends Front Office Representative Meetings as scheduled by the Front Office Manager or management staff.* Performs other duties as assigned or requested.**Requirements*** High School Diploma/GED and/or the equivalent combination of up to one (1) year experience in clerical support.* Valid Driver's License.* CPR Certification preferred.**General Information**Physicians Premier is a full service, state-licensed, and 24/7 emergency room that is not directly connected to a hospital.
