Main PurposeThis position assists the company to increase profitability. The Business Development role responsibilities include building and strengthening internal and external relationships, managing customer relations, and implementing strategies designed to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities. Essential Functions--- Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external sales and marketing departments, vendors, distributors, and customers.--- Identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company.--- Researching new markets and emerging market trends.--- Developing new partnerships.--- Formulating and implementing an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained.--- Presenting market research to the marketing department and recommending strategies to improve market research.--- Experience and ability to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFP). --- Collecting information to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).--- Continually learning about the company's products. Environmental Conditions80 to 90% of the work activities are performed indoors.

Requirements:
Job Requirements5-10 years' experience in sales for energy-related service industries in the South Texas area.Contacts to expand Gulf Island service offerings in the area including manpower services, fabrication, scaffolding, coatings, specialty services (hydrotesting, torquing/tensioning, weld isolation, cold cutting).Ability to travel to cover South Texas area. Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, and management.Proficient in Microsoft Office products.Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability and willingness to provide sales calls reports, sales activity reports, and opportunity tracking on a weekly basis.Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.PI181200065
