Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Grade: 114 Salary: $15.52 Hourly Department: Aviation E-mail: ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed. Overtime, when necessary, is mandatory. This is a Temporary position Who May ? All persons legally authorized to work in the United States Overview The Landside Agent is responsible for operating duties assigned to landside operators, which include parking lots, terminal curbside, International Drive, Quick Turnaround facility, and terminal building. This position will also monitor curbside activity during peak periods, report unattended vehicles, issue work orders in terminal, curbside, paring lots and Quick Turnaround facility, and provide exemplary customer service to passengers and community members. Responsibilities and Duties Perform daily operation of parking operations, including but not limited to: customer service completion of reports and documentation, communication and coordination with management staff Monitor parking lots for safety, security, and customer service issues Create work orders for issues requiring attention by Facilities department and report emergent conditions Conduct parking lot inspections, monitor all equipment for performance, and schedule preventative maintenance as needed Monitor terminal curbside and respond to reported issues Assist Department of Public Safety by responding to and reporting unattended vehicles Control traffic during peak periods and instruct customers to use short term parking Provide customer service to passengers inside the terminal by answering all questions, directing to services or agencies, and respond to any passenger complaints Issue work orders for repair of broken or out of service equipment Conduct daily inspections of QTA facility with responding to issues related to facility such as minor custodial issues and generating work orders May be asked to perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of relevant work experience Certifications, Licenses or Other Requirements: A valid driver's license is required Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire Other Information: Basis of Rating Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview. Closing Statement Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test. Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi.
