The Mobile Correctional Officer Team will be assigned to the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice Region V Headquarters in Plainview, TX but will travel to units across the State of Texas to assist with staffing needs.Team members will work at a unit Monday - Thursday, with travel days Friday and Sunday, if needed.Day Shift - 8:00 AM - 6:30 PMNight Shift - 8:00 PM - 6:30 AMAfter successfully completing 12 months with the mobile team, correctional officers will have the opportunity to be placed at their unit of choice.Apply online at: Job Code: 033092MC when applying! This position is not based out of a unit; travel is required.A veteran who has completed at least two years active military serviceand been discharged under honorable conditions, or an applicant who hasearned an associate's degree or bachelor's degree from an accreditedcollege will start as a Correctional Officer IV, pay level 4 $3,284.27per month.
