Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, IFM Must-Have Skills: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: ACLS BLS NRP IFM Description: The unit has 12 beds and a staff of 9 Registered Nurses, with 2 new graduates in orientation and 1 nurse educator. The day shift requires 2 Registered Nurses and 1 nurse educator when available. The night shift also requires 2 Registered Nurses. Patient ratios are 3-4 patients per Registered Nurse. Equipment includes Baxter IV Pumps and GE Fetal Monitoring systems. The electronic medical records system used is CPN and Meditech. Common procedures include routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs monitoring, and finger sticks. The ideal candidate should possess an outgoing, eager, and confident personality.
