Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Corpus Christi, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,619 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78412! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: ICU experience Description: The ICU unit has 24 beds and is staffed by 50 personnel. Staff includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) and 12 Registered Nurses (RNs) on each shift. Night shift typically has 1 CNC, 12 RNs, and additional sitters as needed. Patient-to-nurse ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2. Equipment includes ventilators, Swans, Impellas, and balloon pumps. Typical procedures performed include intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, external ventricular drains (EVDs), ICP monitoring, Swan Pacers, and bolting. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills. Every other weekend commitment is required. May be placed on call if not needed for scheduled shifts but only for that specific shift.
