Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a national leader in home healthcare
services, is looking for a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) to join our team for evening shifts. This position involves
providing skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in
the comfortable and familiar setting of their homes. Our LVNs play
a crucial role in the health and well-being of our patients,
ensuring that they achieve the highest possible levels of health
and functionality. This role requires not only nursing skills but
also a deep compassion and the ability to provide care in a
respectful and dignified manner. Provide direct patient care
according to the established care plan. Monitor patient health and
administer basic patient care including changing bandages,
administering medication, and collecting specimens. Educate
patients and their families on their conditions and the steps
needed for recovery. Maintain patient's clinical records and
document the care provided. Collaborate with physicians and
registered nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
Assist in the transportation of patients as needed for their
continuity of care. Proficient in providing patient care and
emergency response. Adept at using clinical monitoring tools and
performing tests. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to
communicate effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and
respect for patients' privacy. Excellent time management skills and
reliability. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Current LVN License in the state of employment. CPR
Certified or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of
employment.
