Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a premier provider of home healthcare and
pediatric therapy services, is seeking compassionate and dedicated
Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team. This position
involves providing top-notch nursing care to pediatric patients in
a home setting, supporting them to achieve their highest levels of
health and independence. As a Pediatric LVN, you will work closely
with patients and their families, offering tailored care plans and
fostering a safe environment conducive to healing and growth.
Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in a home
setting based on the care plan. Monitor patient’s health condition,
record vital signs, and communicate any changes to the case
manager. Administer medications, conduct basic patient care, and
oversee nutritional needs. Educate patients and families on health
care needs, conditions, and options. Ensure compliance with all
health and safety regulations within the home care setting. Strong
pediatric nursing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work independently in a home setting Proficient
in time management Crisis intervention skills Adaptability and
resilience Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance Current LVN license in the state of employment CPR
certified Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus
