Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a premier provider in home healthcare
services, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled
Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role
focuses on helping children with disabilities or injuries improve
their ability to perform daily activities and reach developmental
milestones in the familiar and comfortable setting of their own
homes. As part of Aveanna Healthcare, you will work closely with
pediatric patients and their families to design and implement
individualized therapy plans that foster an environment of growth
and healing. Evaluate children's skills, and needs in motor,
cognitive, sensory processing, communication, and play. Develop and
implement tailored therapy plans based on each child's unique
needs, aiming to improve their daily living skills. Collaborate
with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure a
holistic approach to the child's development. Document patient's
progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary. Educate families and
caregivers on intervention strategies to ensure developmental
progress outside of therapy sessions. Strong understanding of
pediatric developmental stages and disabilities. Proficiency in
creating and implementing comprehensive occupational therapy
treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with an ability to engage with children and families. Medical

Current and unrestricted state licensure as an Occupational
Therapist. Certification from the National Board for Certification
in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Valid CPR certification.
