Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home healthcare and pediatric
therapy, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) for School Case assignments to provide compassionate care and
support during day shifts. In this role, the Pediatric LVN will
work collaboratively within school settings to ensure the
continuous provision of high-quality nursing services to pediatric
patients, aiding them in achieving optimal outcomes while ensuring
a safe and nurturing environment. This position demands a highly
skilled, passionate, and adaptive individual ready to meet the
unique challenges presented in an educational setting. Provide
direct nursing care according to the prescribed medical regimen,
including administration of medications, treatments, and
documentation. Collaborate with school officials, teachers, and
parents to effectively manage the healthcare needs of students.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized
Healthcare Plans (IHPs). Monitor and assess patient health status
and make necessary adjustments in their care plans. Educate
patients and their families on health management and treatment
options. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying
with procedures, rules, and regulations. Attend IEP meetings as
required to discuss and integrate health-related needs with
educational goals. Proficiency in pediatric nursing Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and
time-management abilities Ability to work effectively in a team and
independently Knowledge of pediatric emergency response and care
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice CPR/BLS
certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
is preferred.
