find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78401! Job
Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas Gulf Coast Start
Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Day or night shift available; 12-hour shifts with shift huddles at
7am and 7pm Highlights: 16-bed emergency department with 8 hall
chairs serving low to moderate acuity patients (ESI 4-5,
occasionally ESI 1-3) Patient ratio of 1:4, with potential for 6
patients during lower acuity periods Facility transitioning from
Level IV to Level II trauma center – be part of an exciting
elevation in care Collaborative team environment with 6-7 staff
members per shift including charge nurse, triage, bedside RNs,
ultrasound tech, and support staff Meditech EMR with integrated
vital signs documentation Focus on timely, quality care for stroke,
STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients with strong patient satisfaction
and employee engagement metrics Requirements: Active RN license in
Texas Level II or Level III trauma center experience required TNCC,
ENPC or PALS certification required ACLS and BLS certification
required CEN, TCRN, or CPI certification preferred Two or more
years of emergency department experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated compassion, urgency, and teamwork skills Completion of
