Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Corpus Christi, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,492 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Registered Nurse Licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Transfer training - EMR proficiency Description: Data Collection: Number of Beds: 15 Number of Staff: 18 Type of Staff: At capacity, 15 patients. Day Shift: 1 charge nurse (takes full load), 2 RNs, 1 CNA. Night Shift: 1 charge nurse (takes full load), 2 RNs, 1 CNA. Patient Ratios: 5:1, maximum 6:1. Type of Equipment: Vital sign machines, transfer equipment, EKG machines, bladder scanners, etc. Electronic Medical Record: Meditech, Pyxis. Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: - Must have skills listed; candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or Nice to Have: - Rehab experience - Rehab scoring documentation Typical Procedures Performed: - Patient transfers - Bladder scans - Dressing changes - Medication administration Best Personality Fit: - Teamwork - Takes initiative Floating Areas: - Medical-Surgical - Telemetry - Renal - Urology - Orthopedics - Overflow units. Dress Code: Scrub color/attire is not applicable. Unit Guidelines/Policies: - Bedside report/handoff - Hourly rounding - Ensure bed alarm activation Weekends and On Call: - Every other weekend and holidays. - On call seldom, unless overall hospital census is low.
