Neurologist/Epileptologist Job Overview: Driscoll Children s
Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Child
Neurologist with specialized training in Epilepsy and
Neurophysiology to join our growing neuroscience team. This is an
exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven
environment serving the children of South Texas. The ideal
candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient care for
children with neurologic conditions, with a focus on the diagnosis
and treatment of epilepsy. Key Responsibilities: Provide
comprehensive neurologic care to pediatric patients, including
those with complex epilepsy. Interpret EEGs and other
neurodiagnostic studies. Participate in the development and/or
expansion of Epilepsy Service Driscoll Children s Hospital.
Collaborate with neurosurgeons, hospitalists, intensivists, and
other subspecialists. Participate in inpatient consultations,
outpatient clinics, and shared call coverage. Contribute to quality
improvement initiatives and clinical program development. Engage in
education and mentorship of medical students and residents. Serve
as Neurology faculty member for pediatric residents and medical
students at Driscoll Children s Hospital. Engage in clinical
research projects at Driscoll Children s Hospital, if desired.
Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with special
qualification in Child Neurology, and board-certified or
board-eligible in Epilepsy/Neurophysiology. Eligible for licensure
to practice medicine in the state of Texas. Commitment to clinical

than 30 medical and surgical specialties across South Texas,
