Job Summary and Qualifications Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures at a technical level which does not require direct supervision and assumes the responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. What you will do in this role: - Determines priority on patient care and completes work within appropriate time frame. - Delegates work appropriately to job classification with clear concise directions. - Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed. - Follows hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks. - Willing to adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs. - When assigned work is complete, it seeks additional tasks to be done. - Perform well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills. - Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task. What qualifications you will need: - Associate Degree - Basic Cardiac Life Support - (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists, or (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 630 bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community.
