Registered Nurses for hospice care contracts at a partnering
Hospice House in Corpus Christi, Texas. Local or travel, we want to

life. Hospice House RN Contract Details: $1,782 – $1,960 per week*
Openings are for 3 12 hour shifts per week Nightshift As a Hospice
House Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide expert symptom
management, comfort-focused care, and emotional support to patients
and families in an inpatient hospice facility. You will work
collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that
patients experience dignity and peace at the end of life. Provide
hands-on nursing care, including pain and symptom management, wound
care, and medication administration in accordance with the
patient’s individualized plan of care. Conduct comprehensive
nursing assessments and create/update care plans to align with
patient needs and goals. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary
team (physicians, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, and volunteers)
to ensure holistic patient and family support. Educate patients and
families on the dying process, symptom management, and available
support resources. Document patient status, interventions, and care
plan updates accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Provide emotional support to families, offering reassurance and
guidance through the end-of-life journey. Ensure compliance with
state, federal, and agency policies, including hospice Conditions
of Participation (CoPs) and Joint Commission standards. Participate
in daily shift handoffs, team meetings, and quality improvement
initiatives. All nurses on contract with SHC are paid weekly

Requirements: Current Texas RN License (or compact state license)
American Heart Association BLS CHPN – Certified Hospice and
Palliative Nurse Certification preferred Valid U.S. Driver’s
License Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
documentation. Minimum of one year of nursing experience in
hospice, palliative care, ICU, ED, oncology, or med-surg preferred
Strong understanding of pain and symptom management in terminally
ill patients. Experience with end-of-life discussions and
family-centered care. Ability to work autonomously while
collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. Most contracts
