Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department at CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital, you will be a highly skilled and trained medical professional who plays a vital role in the hospital. You will be responsible for providing immediate and efficient care to patients who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. ER Nurses must have a strong knowledge base in emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma care to provide the best possible care to patients in emergency situations. ER Nurses work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, and must be able to quickly assess and stabilize patients, and then decide on the best course of treatment.When you join our team as an RN you will get to work with a top-notch team to include 24/7 coverage of RT, Pharmacist and Emergency Medicine Residents and Attendings.
