Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac team at Christus Health. As a Cardiac Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those who have undergone cardiac interventions, such as stent placement and pacemaker placement.Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those who have undergone cardiac interventions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and hospitalists to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the planning and implementing of patient care, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic technique and procedures.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas State RN License.
  • CPR (American Heart Association) certification.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
  • EKG certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer date.Work EnvironmentA6 is a 27-bed fast-paced unit that provides care for cardiac patients who have undergone cardiac interventions. We have a strong working relationship with our cardiologists and hospitalists, and we are known for delivering exceptional high-quality patient care together with outstanding customer service.
