Qualifications We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive
Care Unit for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide
all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing

Your Role:
- You will plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care
of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to
appropriate healthcare professionals.
- You will competently and accurately complete age appropriate
comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients;
takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing
diagnosis/patient care needs.
- You will evaluate the patient/family response to, and
outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care
accordingly.
- You will implement and direct care, using the nursing process
with emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients.
- You will promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care
provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing
personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who
influence patient progress.What qualifications you will need:
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is
required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or
Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are
required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire
date).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is
required.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire. Corpus
Christi Medical Center is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals
in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. Bay
Area is our full-service acute care hospital and offers
state-of-the-art cardiovascular services, bariatric, GYN and
robotic surgery. The Women's Center at Bay Area, with its NICU
Unit, is also the home of our graduate medical education program.

services and outpatient behavioral health services. Bayview

treatment for psychiatric patients ages 12 years and older, as well

full-service 24-7 emergency department in Portland that offers
outpatient laboratory, imaging and occupational services. Radiation
Oncology offers advanced technology for treating cancer with the
