USPI Shoreline Surgery Center, is seeking a motivated LVN to join our team. Shoreline Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Position requires weekdays only-- NO holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the Pre-Op/PACU LVN will assist the RN and physician in providing pre- and postoperative care to our patients, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time.
Required Skills:
Current Texas LVN LicenseCurrent BLSMinimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordinglyKnowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errorsAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededExcellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrate strong professional and ethical behaviorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and fellow employeesTEAMWORKStrong customer service skillsDemonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to changePosses basic knowledge of Performance Improvement Ideology USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
