Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catherization Lab

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients experiencing cardiac intervention upon admission to the department.
  • The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in ensuring safe and competent quality patient care.
    • The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory supports the medical care of all patient requiring any cardiac or peripheral intervention under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the hospital.
      • This individual maintains a complete Intraoperative record and is responsible for the patient during the pre-operative, intra-operative and immediate post operative period.
        
        What qualifications you will need:
        • ADN required; BSN enrolled
        • 1 year of acute care experience in the Cath Lab preferred
        • Current Texas State RN license or compact license
        • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
