    The Charge Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation, coordination, and planning for the care of the patient.--

    You will be responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards of care/practice, and regulatory agencies.--

    You will demonstrate and inspire confidence, credibility, adaptability and autonomy.--

    Qualifications What qualifications you will need:

      BSN required
      
      
    • 
      Current Texas RN license
      
      
    • 
      Six months or more experience in nursing required--
      
      
    • 
      American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
