From caring for fragile newborns to complex cardiovascular patients, Corpus Christi Medical Center ensures the community receives the highest quality medical care available.What you will do in this role: * The Orthopedic/Neurosurgical Coordinator assists in the care and preparation of orthopedic/neurosurgical patients by performance of routine and delegated duties within the scope of their training. * The coordinator will establish and maintain active promotion/marketing programs for the Orthopedic/Neurosurgical service and will participate in the education of all personnel involved with the orthopedic and/or neurosurgical patient.Qualifications Education: * Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferredWhat qualifications you will need:* Current licensure as an RN* American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required* Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic experience in the OR.* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, strong communication skills and leadership abilities.HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune?s list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
