What you will do in this role:

• The Charge Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation, coordination, and planning for the care of the patient.
• You will be responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards of care/practice, and regulatory agencies.
• You will demonstrate and inspire confidence, credibility, adaptability and autonomy.
• You will Support the Corpus Christi Medical Center s vision, mission and values. Qualifications What qualifications you will need:
  • ADN required; BSN preferred
  • Current Texas RN license
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune s list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
