Corpus Christi Medical Center - Corpus Christi, TX Respiratory Supervisor (RRT) - Cardiopulmonary Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 631- bed Health Care System including Bay Area, Doctors Regional, The Heart Hospital, Northwest Regional, Bayview Behavioral Hospital, Northshore Emergency Center, Northwest Behavioral Health Center and Radiation Oncology at Corpus Christi Cancer Center. What you will do in this role: --- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department of Cardiopulmonary Services. --- When necessary the incumbent administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system, under supervision of Physician and by prescription, by performing the following duties. Qualifications Education: --- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Technician Program and credentialed as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy. Additional requirements include RRT Registry. Bachelors degree preferred.

What qualifications will need:
--- 2 years of supervisory and clinical experience in an acute care setting. Critical Care experience is required. --- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
--- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) and certification is required.
--- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support course (PLS or PCLS) and certification is required.
