Job Description Our client in the Corpus Christi, TX area is currently seeking a full-time Deisel Mechanic for their Maintenance Department. Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. Work independently on routine tasks, as well as accept direction on given assignments Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and machine servicing Maintains inventory of tools and equipment Utilize a solid working knowledge of general safety practices, along with the ability to recognize safety concerns and successfully take the initiative to modify/fix appropriately without direction Understand basic Hydraulic and Electrical systems along with associated safety practices Able to competently prioritize and address maintenance issues as they arise, and to clearly and accurately complete required documentation for each assignment Resolve auxiliary equipment issues Diesel Mechanic Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred Associates Degree in a related field preferred Driver's License required CDL preferred 2 years Related Experience Mechanic skills including (but not limited to) Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatic
