Founded by Amherst, the full-service real estate solutions
platform, Amherst StudioBuilt™ homes is an innovative approach to
home development that utilizes offsite construction to create new
housing supply at scale without sacrificing quality. StudioBuilt
homes are constructed at Amherst’s housing studio in Cuero, Texas
as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed
on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250
manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in
the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced
individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the
production process. Job Description The Drywall Finisher performs
skilled work finishing drywall panels in a verity of buildings by
applying mud, taping, and sanding surfaces, skimming the walls, and
professionally preparing the panels for painting or other finishing
techniques. The successful candidate will also lead and help
develop a small crew of manufacturing associates. If you possess
strong communication, interpersonal and leadership traits this is

venture in Modular housing in the CUERO TX factory Essential Duties
and Responsibilities The Drywall Finisher - Tape and Texture
associate will apply tape and texture within a production/plant
environment Objects that will be handled: Joint tape, mud mixer,
25-pound bags of mix, mixing and cleaning station, mud pump, drying
fan, bags of joint mud, vapor barrier spray gun, texture spay gun,
stomping tool Works in a safe manner and follows all safety
policies while performing job duties Maintains work area is kept
clean and organized Follows work orders and instructions on correct
assembly of building components Maintains open communication with
supervisor regarding safety concerns and assembly of building
components Mix and apply mud to taped drywall seams Apply vapor
barrier using spray gun Apply texturing material to ceiling using
spray gun Apply texturing design Clean and maintain equipment
Meeting weekly production goals per assigned Department Performs
various other job duties as assigned and needed Maintain a good
attendance record Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles
of honesty and integrity Required Skills and Experience High School
Diploma 3-4 years relevant work experience Able to follow
instructions, written and verbal Follow all safety practices Able
to work in a manufacturing environment including the physical
demands of the job Able to lift 75lbs Able to stand for 8 hours to
accomplish work tasks Able to use the tools and processes for the
role Requires good manual dexterity (hand, arm, and multi-limb
coordination) Able to work overtime as scheduled Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be
exposed to noise, wood products, plastics, lubricants moving
mechanical parts and vibration. Physical Demands While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk
and hear. This position is very active and requires standing,
walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and
climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over
75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Our full-time
